VIP Event
Recently, a very important governmental meeting took place in Hillah, Babil Province’s capital. Many senior government officials, including Iraq’s Deputy Prime Minister & the Minister of Finance, attended the event. The meeting was held to present Babil Province with an additional $70 million in new money and financing for a major loan program for small businesses and individuals. The money was given to Babil because the province exercised some independence in spending their capital budget for reconstruction. The DPM said that Babil’s local rebuilding is consistent with Iraq’s Constitution, which envisions a federal system with substantial powers granted to regions. The CA Company assisted in this mission by transporting the VIPs to the Provincial Joint Control Center for the meeting.
